Brave Minds Psychology offers the convenience of on the spot online claiming for Medicare Rebates and use of EFTPOS facilities. Visa, Mastercard and debit cards all accepted.
Schedule of feesIndividual Therapy Sessions (50 minute consultations) are billed at $235 per session. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan in place then you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.65 per session. Payment for services is required at the time of consultation
Medicare RebateYou may be eligible to access Medicare rebates to help you cover for the cost of therapy. This would require a medical professional such as a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician to provide you a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan to access rebates. A referral under a Mental Health Care Plan will provide for 10 rebated psychology sessions per calendar year under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
Private Health InsuranceYour eligibility for rebates through a private health fund depends on your insurer and level of cover. It is best to contact your private health insurance provider to determine whether rebates apply to psychological services.
